Caves & Kiwi Waitomo Experience

Enjoy a scenic drive through the Waikato region of New Zealand, known for its rich Maori history and stunning landscapes. The Ruakuri Cave system offers the country’s longest underground walking tour, where you’ll be treated to a close-up look at the glowworms and limestone stalactite and stalagmite formations. After, enjoy a guided walk around the native forested gorge, natural sculpted cliffs and low limestone arches of the Ruakuri Valley walk and enjoy a traditional New Zealand barbecue buffet lunch. Finally, a visit to a Kiwi house and native bird park completes the day, where you’ll have the rare chance to see the iconic Kiwi bird and other endangered species.
