Full Day Blue Mountains Hike the World Heritage
INTRODUCTION
This tour of the Blue Mountains begins with a stop at Calmsley Hill, a working farm that’s also home to Kangaroo, Emu and Koala.
Enjoy morning tea and some time to wander at your leisure, then prepare for some stunning outlooks of the beautiful Jamison Valley.
Arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout point away from the crowds for views of the famous Three Sisters – their character changes throughout the day as the sunlight brings out the magnificent colors.
Arrive at Evans Lookout where you will be issued your lunch pack and instructions on the hiking track.
You will cross several valleys and ridges as you hike from Evans Lookout to Govetts Leap, all the while looking out across Australia’s Grand Canyon, The Grose Valley.
The hike concludes at Govetts Leap, one of the most famous lookouts in Australia.
Your last stop at the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens includes time for a short inspection of the flora, and you’ll discover the ancient Wollemi Pine (Wollemia Nobilis).
Note: this tour is suitable for active people who possess a reasonable level of fitness.
