Day 1 Arrive Sydney, transfer to Wolgan Valley, Blue Mountains
Welcome to Australia! Upon arrival in Sydney enjoy a scenic transfer to One&Only Wolgan Valley, your home for the next 2 nights. Set within 4,000 acres of rugged Australian outback wilderness, One&Only Wolgan Valley offers guests the chance to immerse themselves in an authentic and meaningful experience whilst enjoying luxurious accommodation, fine food and great wine.
Day 2 One&Only Wolgan Valley
Today is at your leisure, so you can do as little or as much as you’d like. Soak up the uninterrupted beauty of your surroundings from the comfort of your luxurious room, where floor-to-ceiling windows open to panoramic valley views. Many complimentary activities are available including stable tours, conservation activities, stargazing talks, colonial heritage tours and Carne Creek nature walks.
For an additional cost, you may wish to have our team arrange a 4×4 safari, night wildlife spotting, horse riding, mountain biking, bush walking, birdwatching or heritage and Aboriginal interpretation tour. Wolgan Valley’s signature experiences can be tailored to your needs to provide you with intimate, personal and unforgettable memories.
Day 3 Wolgan Valley, Blue Mountains to Sydney
Enjoy a scenic transfer back to the city and arrive at your next hotel, The Park Hyatt Sydney. This elegant hotel is situated within the Rocks district with views of the iconic Sydney Opera House. The remainder of the day is yours to spend at leisure in Sydney.
Day 4 Sydney – Today you have the choice of 1 of 6 Tours
1. Shared luxury harbor cruise with progressive lunch at Sydney’s top waterfront restaurants
Late this morning board the Ocean Blue, a 46-foot Riviera luxury motor vessel for a cruise on Sydney Harbour. Enjoy complimentary Australian wines as you cruise along the iconic foreshore, taking in sights of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, and the bays and coves of the water itself. Start with a light menu at the famous Doyles on the Beach Restaurant in Watsons Bay, then cruise onto Middle Head and into Middle Harbour. Discover the beauty of the harbor and stop at Balmoral for lunch – this world-famous restaurant is in a relaxed luxury space, featuring fresh local ingredients of the seasons while incorporating global culinary influences. Departing Balmoral and cruising past the Spit Bridge, you’ll have your chance to indulge in dessert, cheese and wines before returning to the main harbor where you can stop for a swim if you choose.
2. Shared Seaplane to Cottage Point for lunch
Enjoy a must-do Sydney experience as you fly by seaplane to Cottage Point. Traveling from Rose Bay in Sydney Harbour, you’ll enjoy a series of gorgeous views before arriving in style to the charming Cottage Point Inn. Stepping from the seaplane onto the restaurant’s private dock, you’ll receive a warm welcome from the friendly staff before settling in for lunch. Enjoy superb, modern Australian cuisine on the deck while the water laps gently by, or sit among the cozy, converted boatshed interiors. Your flight back to Rose Bay is equally spectacular and includes a double orbit in front of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge to top off a truly special day.
3. Morning Private Sydney Tour, with afternoon Private Sydney Opera House Tour
On this private comprehensive tour, we will take you to Sydney’s iconic sights and gorgeous beaches. Highlights include: Darling Harbour, the Rocks with its historic buildings, Mrs. Mac’s chair for photos of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, Wooloomooloo Bay, Watsons Bay, The Gap and Bondi Beach. Return to the city via Tamarama and Bronte beaches, Centennial Park, Paddington, Darlinghurst and China Town, Darling Harbour and Barangaroo, the newest urban and entertainment area. Wrapping up the first part of the tour, you’ll drive past the restored finger wharves of Walsh Bay and under the Sydney Harbour Bridge, then transferred back to your Sydney accommodation.
Later this afternoon, take the short walk to the Sydney Opera House to meet your guide for an emotional journey inside the modern masterpiece. This exclusive tour gives you the opportunity to design your ideal beach day out, enjoying the funky beach vibe bars and urban-style shops that add to Bondi Beach’s appeal. Enjoy a tour of the area and learn a little about the history, then hit the waves for private surf lessons with your very own private guide. This person will double as your local insight for the day, so will be able to work with you from the start of the day to ensure every need is met.
5. Morning Taste of Sydney Walking Tour
Meet your guide at your hotel for a fascinating walking & tasting tour of Sydney. Stopping at one of the country’s oldest pubs in the historic Rocks area, you’ll drink locally-produced craft beers accompanied by some of the best ‘pub grub’ in Sydney. Wander past the Sydney Opera House and through the Botanic Gardens – an oasis of unique Australian flora right in the heart of the city – then venture to Manta Restaurant on the iconic Woolloomooloo Wharf to indulge in champagne, oysters and a Sydney favorite, salt-and-pepper squid. After dining you’ll take a walk up to the ultra-trendy Potts Point for your final stop at Bistro Rex. Here you will enjoy a delicate menu with a French twist and have the chance to meet the Head Chefs and Co-owners to discover their inspiration behind the menu. Your host will walk you back to your hotel after the meal.

Explore the Sydney precinct with the densest population of cafes, restaurants and creative minds, then enjoy a transfer back to your Sydney accommodation.
Day 5 Sydney to Hamilton Island
Today we transfer you back to the airport to catch your flight to Hamilton Island. An exclusive destination in the Whitsunday Islands, this is one of the most pristine areas in the Great Barrier Reef, and Qualia Resort is a unique Australian expression of world-class luxury.
Day 6 Explore the Great Barrier Reef
Enjoy the stunning Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef from the air and the water. Beginning with a flight over turquoise seas and palm-fringed shores, you’ll arrive at Hardy Lagoon and transfer onto the Coral Gardens Explorer along with a select few other guests. This glass bottom boat allows you to see everything that’s going on beneath you, and you’ll spend approximately 2 hours touring and snorkeling if you wish. At the end of your cruise, board the seaplane once again for your scenic flight over Heart Reef back to Hamilton Island.
Day 7 Hamilton Island to Port Douglas (Daintree Rainforest)
Today, board a short flight to Cairns and take a private transfer to Silky Oaks Lodge. This luxurious eco-retreat is located within the Daintree Rainforest—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s oldest living rainforest—and blends in seamlessly with its gorgeous surroundings.
Day 8 Daintree National Park
Today is yours to spend at your leisure. We recommend:
-Exploring the ancient World Heritage-listed Daintree National Park, adjacent to the lodge.
-Taking the Silky Oaks Safari for a fully guided experience of the rainforest.
-Cycling to Mossman Gorge with one of the complimentary mountain bikes for a waterside picnic. Should you run out of steam, simply contact reception and they will collect you and your bike for an easy ride back to the lodge.
-Snorkeling in the Billabong to see freshwater turtles, eels, Jungle Perch and a resident Platypus.
-Relaxing and rejuvenating at the on-site Healing Waters Spa.
Day 9 Port Douglas (Daintree Rainforest) to Kangaroo Island
This morning transfer back to Cairns to fly to Adelaide for your connecting flight to Kangaroo Island. With 21 national and conservation parks, Kangaroo Island has enormous appeal for those who enjoy viewing wildlife in their natural surroundings. Your home for the next 2 nights is the beautiful Southern Ocean Lodge, where you can soak up panoramic views from your clifftop setting.
Day 10 Great Southern Lodge Kangaroo Island
Today is yours to make the most of the lodge, and a range of signature experiences are provided alongside fellow guests at scheduled times. Private touring can be arranged at an additional cost subject to availability.
Wonders of Kangaroo Island
This half day experience is a spectacular introduction to Kangaroo Island’s wildlife, maritime heritage and stunning coastal landscapes. The Cape Du Couedic Lighthouse, Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch and a fur seal colony are just some of the trip highlights, as is wandering amongst the rare Cape Barren Geese in search of a sleepy koala.
Seal Bay
Seal Bay is home to Australia’s third largest colony of Australian sea lions, and you can join our naturalist guide on the shores of the Southern Ocean for an exclusive tour with these wild animals. Learn about their unique breeding cycle and the ongoing research programs implemented on site. It’s just one of the many privileges of Kangaroo Island.
Coastal Clifftop Walk
Take a scenic walk starting right on the lodge’s doorstep atop the limestone cliffs of Hanson Bay. This easy walk affords a bird’s eye view of thundering waves crashing along the coastline, and you can stand on top of the cliff with the wind blowing and look out towards Antarctica. Experience and learn about local flora, fauna and coastline ecosystems.
Kangaroos & Canapés
Soak up the history of early settlers at Grassdale, a historic island property you can reach via a short drive from the lodge. Local wildlife including kangaroos and wallabies congregate to graze here, and as you observe them you can sip premium South Australian beverages and enjoy a ‘Kanapé’ whilst the sun goes down on another magical day.

Day 11 Kangaroo Island to Adelaide (Barossa Valley)
Today you’ll return to Adelaide and take a short transfer to the Barossa Valley wine region. Your home for the next 2 nights is The Louise, a boutique luxury lodge and true paradise for food and wine lovers. The world-renowned restaurant Appellation is a destination in itself, and you’ll enjoy fresh fruit and port-style wine on arrival as you soak up tranquil views of the surrounding green hills.
Day 12 Private Wine and Food lovers Tours of the Barossa Valley
Sit back, relax, and take a luxurious private wine tour in an air-conditioned 1962 Daimler. Your personal guide, John Baldwin, has been touring The Barossa since 1994 and is passionate about wines and the people behind them. On this tour you’ll have the chance to taste the wines, see the architecture, learn about the valley and even meet the winemakers! You can visit the homes of iconic wine labels like Penfolds, Yalumba and Seppeltsfield or concentrate on smaller boutique and up-and-coming labels. Anything is possible on this private epicurean tour, including cheese and olive oil tastings, boutique beer samplings and visits to farmer’s markets.
Day 13 Breakfast with the Kangaroos before departing for Adelaide
This morning we have arranged something special: a ‘Breakfast with the Kangaroos’ experience! Enjoy a private champagne picnic in a grassy clearing with wild kangaroos – your guide will assist in setting out your own picnic-style breakfast in this beautiful, natural setting. Once finished, return to The Louise for your transfer to the airport.
