Day 1 Arrive Queenstown
Welcome to New Zealand! Upon arrival into Queenstown, enjoy a private transfer to Eichardt’s Private Hotel, which will serve as your luxurious accommodation for the next 4 nights. With a fantastic location in the heart of Queenstown, Eichardt’s has Lake Wakatipu on its doorstep.
Day 2 Milford Sound Heli Cruise
Today is devoted to spectacular scenery. Enjoy a 4-hour excursion by helicopter through the dramatic alpine landscapes of Fiordland National Park and arrive to the spectacular Milford Sound in style. Upon arrival, board a nature cruise for a leisurely itinerary that allows you to soak up the views in an unrushed fashion. Capture spectacular waterfalls, rainforests, and towering peaks on your camera, and keep an eye out for fur seals, dolphins, and penguins along the way. After the cruise, fly back over the fjords and land on an age-old glacier. We’ll shut down the helicopter here to enjoy peaceful serenity swept well away from frenzied crowds.
Day 3 Queenstown – Half Day Private Winery Tour
Enjoy an afternoon among the boutique vineyards and spectacular scenery of Central Otago. Located within the picturesque valleys between dramatic gorges, this New Zealand wine region holds plenty of history and adventure, and all just a short drive from Queenstown. Stopping at four or more wineries, you’ll enjoy a wonderful platter-style lunch and make a visit to the historic Old Cromwell Town. You may even stop at the Kawarau Bridge where you can witness the original AJ Hackett Bungee Jump in full swing.
Day 4 Queenstown – Helicopter to a secluded mountain peak for lunch
Spend the morning at your leisure, perhaps browsing through shops or playing a round of golf at Jack’s Point, a world-class golf course nearby. This afternoon, you’ll take a helicopter to a secluded mountain peak where you can soak up astounding views of New Zealand’s landscapes below. Enjoy a leisurely gourmet lunch with champagne, then enjoy even more stunning aerial views on the helicopter ride back to town.
Day 5 Queenstown to Mahu Whenua Ridgeline Homestead
This morning is free to explore Queenstown at your leisure before departing on a private transfer to Mahu Whenua Ridgeline Homestead for a 2-night stay. Spanning over 55,000 hectares, the property consists of four adjoining high country sheep stations – Motatapu, Mt Soho, Glencoe and Coronet Peak – which when combined stretch from Glendhu Bay in Wanaka all the way to Arrowtown in Queenstown. This entire area plays home to some of New Zealand’s most iconic and dramatic natural alpine scenery, and the Homestead offers plenty of views.
Day 6 Mahu Whenua Ridgeline Homestead
We’ve kept today free from planned activities so you can sit back and enjoy the comforts of the Ridgeline Homestead. For those who enjoy more sedentary activities, on-site cooking classes with Mahu Whenua's chef, riverside picnics and spa services are all available. Should you wish for something slightly more active, private guides can take you out for on-site activities like horse trekking, hiking, or four-wheel driving through the high country sheep stations.
Day 7 Depart Queenstown
After a wonderful trip, it’s time to say goodbye to Queenstown, New Zealand. We have included a private transfer to the airport to begin your journey home.
