Kalbarri National Park INTRODUCTION
With almost 2000 square km of wild bushland, Kalbarri National Park tempts visitors with its uniquely untamed beauty.
Inland, rivers reach like veins towards the coastal cliffs of the south, where sea creatures wait hungrily for whatever fish will flush out.
Colorful wildflowers take over the outdoors from July to October, and age-old gorges and rock formations can be admired year round.
Don't forget to look up every once in awhile – more than 170 different bird types all call Kalbarri home. To get the best vantage point for photos, trek to one of the many look out points like Nature’s Window, The Loop or Hawkes Head.
Go canoeing, swimming or fishing, and keep an eye out for the brand new skywalk being built over the Murchison River Gorge.
Once complete, visitors will be able to walk out 25 meters from the cliff's edge, and look down into the rushing river below.
