Born and raised in Vancouver, Jasmine has been working in tourism for many years, over the course of which she has refined her specialty in all things luxury. Whether you’re looking for a resort stay, ‘glamping’ experience, high-end hotel or private touring - Jasmine knows it all. Like many others, she works in tourism because she loves to travel – everything from cultural experiences to soft-adventure activities. Outside of tourism, Jasmine is also a classically trained pianist.
What is your favorite place in the South Pacific?
My favorite place in Fiji is Likuliku Lagoon Resort. Their adults-only, overwater bures provide a unique experience that's perfect for honeymooners! There’s nothing like sitting outside on the deck and overlooking the tropical waters.
Tell us about a special discovery that you’ve made in the South Pacific.
My special discovery destination is Wanaka on the South Island of New Zealand. It's close to Queenstown but isn't as well known, so it's a quiet and uncrowded alternative for travelers looking for something different. Surrounded by the lake and mountains, Wanaka really feels like a place you could call home.
What one thing in the South Pacific should you experience at least once in your life?
In Australia, everyone should experience the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb at least once. It provides fantastic views of the city including the iconic Sydney Opera House. If you’re lucky, you might even see fireworks go off while you're up there!
